Roadmap for 2026
🚧 Recipe Goals Roadmap: What’s Coming Next
We’ve been hard at work thinking about where Recipe Goals is headed, and we’re excited to share an early look at our upcoming roadmap. This is a living plan, and while details may evolve, these phases outline the direction we’re moving in.
Throughout all phases, we’ll continue shipping bug fixes, performance improvements, and quality-of-life enhancements to make Recipe Goals smoother and more enjoyable to use.
📱 Phase 1: Mobile Apps
While Recipe Goals is already mobile-friendly, we want to take the experience a step further with dedicated mobile apps.
Our goals for mobile include:
- Faster, more convenient access to your recipes
- A more native, app-like experience
- Laying the groundwork for offline support, so you can access your recipes, cookbooks, and lists even without an internet connection
This phase is about speed, accessibility, and setting up a strong foundation for future features.
🗓️ Phase 2: Meal Planner
Next up is a meal planning system.
While this feature is still being designed, the core idea is simple:
- Plan out your meals for the week
- Automatically understand what groceries are needed
- Know what should be cooked — and when
The goal is to bridge the gap between recipes you love and meals you actually cook, while reducing decision fatigue and last-minute grocery runs.
🎯 Phase 3: Goals & Calculators
Once meal planning is in place, we can start connecting food choices to personal goals.
This phase will introduce:
- Goal-setting tools
- Nutrition and lifestyle calculators (including a macro calculator)
- Smarter ways to plan meals around your goals
By combining planning, nutrition insights, and personal targets, Recipe Goals can help you make more intentional choices — whether that’s eating healthier, hitting macros, or simply staying consistent.
🔧 Always Improving
No matter which phase we’re in, we’ll continuously:
- Fix bugs
- Improve performance
- Polish the UI and UX
- Add small quality-of-life features that make a big difference
Thank you for being part of Recipe Goals and helping shape what it becomes. More details to come as we move forward 🚀
