SAUSAGE AND BROCCOLI SOUP SPICYBy Carla R.Swiss Steak For Dinner ( Slow Cooking )By Carla R.In a large plastic zipping bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add steak pieces, turning and pressing to coat well in flour mixture. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil; brown steaks on both sides, but do not cook through. To a slow cooker, add onion, celery, green pepper and soup. Whisk together water and cornstarch; pour over top. Add steak pieces. Cover and cook on high setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on low setting for 10 to 12 hours. Stir before serving. Serve steak over mashed potatoes; top with tomato gravy from slow cooker. Serves 5 to 6.
